Overview: 

We are an independent investment consulting firm providing advisory services to high net worth clients, family offices and non-profit entities.  The Consultant will be part of a small, collegial team reporting directly to the Managing Principal.   

 Responsibilities:

• Assist with evaluation of existing and potential new investments
• Monitor existing investment values, returns, exposures, liquidity, cash flows, holdings, profiles, and related data
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on investments, including managers and funds
• Assist with monthly and quarterly valuations, returns, reporting and other projects
• Perform ongoing research of investment trends, opportunities and markets
• Attend periodic meetings of existing managers and prepare written summaries
• Develop investment policy statements and perform manager search – optimization
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, understand priorities and deliver quality work all with a positive attitude
• Perform numerous projects simultaneously and be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Maturity and integrity to work with confidential/sensitive information

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven project management and organizational skills – ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel. 
• Knowledge of Alternative Investments, particularly Hedge Funds and Private Markets.
• Experience embedding Artificial Intelligence into workflows is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Black Diamond and/or Morningstar Direct is a plus.
• Track record of success with a minimum of four (4) years of financial services experience preferably in investment management/consulting or related sector (e.g. private banking, family office, wealth management)
• CFA designation or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration and knowledge of taxation is strongly preferred.
