Description
Your Role- Manage end-to-end IT project delivery and ongoing application lifecycle management for critical business applications in Manufacturing (MFG), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Quality domains globally. Ensure alignment across business stakeholders, IT infrastructure, and external vendors.
- Act as the local Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for application management and digital manufacturing/smart plant initiatives at the Daejeon site, working onsite alongside project teams throughout project execution phases.
- Coordinate global implementations and continuous service delivery for key manufacturing and quality systems such as MES, LIMS, EMS, LAB systems, and other related platforms, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
- Oversee deployment, configuration, maintenance, and validation of GxP and Non-GxP IT systems within production environments to uphold regulatory compliance, data integrity, operational efficiency, and business continuity.
- Provide comprehensive global and local application support including debugging, testing, documentation updates, troubleshooting according to SOPs, and conducting scheduled system and process reviews.
- Facilitate resolution of application-related issues across quality, supply chain, and manufacturing domains to minimize downtime and support production efficiency and continuity.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (IT, QA, manufacturing, supply chain) to identify process improvements and leverage digital manufacturing technologies to drive operational excellence.
- Manage project risks, budgets, schedules, and communication plans to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget while meeting business and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to IT service delivery and application performance, leveraging metrics and user feedback.
Who You Are
- Academic degree (Associate, Bachelor's etc.) in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experienced IT project and service delivery professional with a minimum of 5 years successfully leading complex technology projects in global and matrix organizations, preferably in life sciences or manufacturing industries.
- Solid domain knowledge or experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality systems and processes.
- Strong grounding in IT service management best practices, methodologies, and frameworks; ITIL certification is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of factory IT systems architecture, digital manufacturing technologies, and regulatory requirements (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional, multicultural virtual teams with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience with program development, Agile methodologies, or DevOps culture is a plus.
- Fluent in Korean and English (written and spoken) to effectively manage local and global stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills coupled with excellent documentation and presentation skills.
