About This Opportunity
Our world-leading School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking an experienced Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join its dedicated Physiotherapy teaching team. This appointment will be offered as either a Teaching & Research or Clinical Academic role, commensurate with the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and preference.
We are seeking skilled Physiotherapists, particularly those with expertise in paediatric physiotherapy, and welcome applications from across Australia and internationally. We are looking for a collaborative and motivated clinician with demonstrated teaching capability, an established record of research achievement, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and a passion for fostering inclusive learning environments and building productive partnerships with colleagues, students, industry and the wider community.
In a Teaching & Research appointment, you will contribute to high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs through course coordination, curriculum development, student supervision and the delivery of engaging, contemporary learning experiences, while building a strong research profile through high-quality publications, competitive research funding applications, collaboration and research impact. You will also contribute to a vibrant academic community through leadership, engagement and service activities within the School, University and broader profession.
In a Clinical Academic appointment, you will contribute to excellence in clinical education, research and professional practice by delivering high-quality teaching and student supervision, undertaking impactful research, and maintaining strong engagement with clinical and industry partners. You will help shape contemporary learning experiences, contribute to research translation and funding activities, and support the advancement of physiotherapy through academic, clinical and professional service.
