Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) — Manual Lymphatic Drainage | Clinical Setting
MLD | Lymphedema Management | Oncology Recovery | Post-Surgical Care | Prenatal Massage | Medical Massage
Vienna, VA
About Us:
Feeling Great Massage is a lymphatic-focused, medically oriented therapeutic massage practice in Vienna, VA, established in 2014. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is at the core of what we do — not an add-on. We serve a diverse client base that includes individuals managing lymphedema, recovering from orthopedic surgery, breast cancer treatment, or C-sections, and clients seeking prenatal, postpartum, and medical massage care. Our referral-based model is built on established relationships with surgeons and physical therapists. This is a clinical setting, not a spa.
Our referral-based client flow means you come in to a consistent, built-in schedule. You focus on outcomes-based care; we handle the rest.
The Role:
This is a primary employment position. We are looking for licensed massage therapists for whom massage therapy is their main profession — not a side job. You will carry a consistent, set schedule with 15–30 minutes between sessions and a client load focused on therapeutic outcomes over volume.
MLD training is required — a 14-hour in-person CEU course is the minimum. Full MLD certification (40–45 hour in-person course with exam) is strongly preferred and prioritized. Therapists actively working toward MLD specialization are encouraged to apply.
What we Offer:
- $55–$70 per 60-minute session based on experience, plus tips
- W-2 employee — consistent, predictable pay
- Referral-based client flow from day one — no building a clientele from scratch
- 15–30 minutes between sessions — sustainable, intentional pacing
- Consistent, set schedule built around your availability
- No insurance billing
- Ongoing clinical skill development including MLD and lymphatic training opportunities
- Town of Vienna massage therapy permit — we guide you through the process
Services we Specialize in:
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) & Lymphedema Management
- Oncology Massage & Cancer Recovery Support
- Post-Surgical Recovery — orthopedic surgery, breast cancer surgery, and post C-section care
- Prenatal & Postpartum Massage
- Myofascial Release
- Orthopedic, Medical & Sports Massage
- Chronic Pain, Muscle Tension & Postural Imbalance
How to apply:
If you are committed to outcomes-based care and want to work in an environment that shares that commitment — we’d love to hear from you.
COMING FROM A HEALTHCARE OR ALLIED HEALTH BACKGROUND?
If you have a background in physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, or another healthcare field and are considering massage therapy as your professional path — we’d love to hear from you. Massage therapy offers more one-on-one time with each patient, meaningful clinical outcomes, and greater control over your schedule and caseload. Our practice is a natural fit for clinically trained professionals who want to work at a deeper, more personalized level with their clients.
