Description
About ENDVR Energy
ENDVR Energy is a Milton Hydro Holdings company built to be the go-to engineering and operations partner for Local Distribution Companies (LDCs) across Canada. Headquartered in Milton, Ontario, one of Canada's fastest-growing communities, ENDVR Energydevelops and scales practical solutions for municipal LDC partners across the province and beyond. We are at an inflection point. Contracts are signed. Growth targets are set.
We are building the team and the technology stack that will define what the utility of the future looks like. If you want to be part of something being built from the ground up, not just managed, this is your seat.
The Opportunity
ENDVR Energy is creating the Manager, Energy Generation & Sustainability Assets role to manage and grow ENDVR Energy's generation and sustainability portfolio, both the assets it already owns and the distributed energy partner ecosystem it is building. This is a hybrid technical/commercial role: part asset manager, part business developer, part project delivery lead.
The person in this role will own four interconnected mandates:
01 Own and optimize ENDVR Energy's generation assets:
manage the day-to-day performance, contract compliance, and economics of the four rooftop Solar/FIT projects (1.37 MWAC combined, 20-year IESO PPAs) and the 400-kW CHP co-generation system, delivering an additional 640 MBH of useful thermal energy, ensuring both continue to deliver stable, predictable revenue.
02 Grow ENDVR Energy's DER and sustainability partner ecosystem:
deepen and commercialize ENDVR Energy's official and closing partnerships (Peak Power – battery storage, Elocity – EV charging, Daisy Energy, OEC Renewables, PowerBank), and convert in-pipeline conversations (Eden Energy, Lowfoot, and others) into signed, revenue-generating agreements.
03 Originate new generation and sustainability business:
identify, evaluate, and bring forward new generation, storage, EV charging, and energy-management opportunities that expand ENDVR Energy's asset base and recurring revenue beyond the current Milton-based portfolio.
04 Lead project development from concept to operation:
move new opportunities through feasibility, grant and funding strategy, utility interconnection, procurement, and construction to commercial operation, delivering each project fully built and ready to run, the way leading EPC-style renewable energy programs do.
Key Responsibilities
Generation Asset Management (Solar/FIT & CHP)
Own the operating performance of the four rooftop Solar/FIT projects (1.37 MWAC), monitoring production against contracted IESO rates and expected panel degradation
Support the economics and contract compliance of the CHP co-generation service, including tracking Tecogen-related operating costs against budget
Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and vendor relationships required to sustain optimal asset performance
Maintain reporting on generation output, revenue, and asset health for the Director, Operations and senior leadership
DER & Sustainability Partnerships
Own and grow ENDVR Energy's official and closing partnerships: Peak Power (battery energy storage), Elocity (EV charging), Daisy Energy, OEC Renewables and PowerBank
Advance in-pipeline partnership discussions, including Eden Energy and Lowfoot, from initial conversation to signed agreement
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations and prospective new partners
Develop commercial structures, pricing, and go-to-market approaches for co-branded generation, storage, and sustainability offerings
Business Development & New Project Origination
Identify and evaluate new generation, storage, EV charging, and energy-management opportunities for ENDVR Energy and its municipal and commercial customers
Lead client-facing discovery conversations, proposals, and presentations for new generation and sustainability initiatives
Represent ENDVR Energy with municipalities, Indigenous partners, utilities, developers, and private industry as the face of the generation and sustainability portfolio
Support the CHP and other contract renewal/renegotiation processes that fund and sustain the portfolio
Project Development & Delivery
Manage new projects from feasibility and energy modelling through grant/funding strategy, procurement, utility interconnection, and construction to commercial operation
Coordinate engineering, EPC, and field operations resources to deliver projects on time and on budget
Navigate utility interconnection and grid integration processes for new generation and storage assets
Build lifecycle financial models to evaluate the business case for new generation and sustainability investments
