In this role, you will deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions, supporting consumers, families and carers to achieve meaningful recovery outcomes.

Requirements
Your reasonability’s will include:
Delivering occupational therapy assessments and evidence-based interventions for older people experiencing mental health challenges.
Developing and implementing recovery-focused rehabilitation and therapeutic group programs.
Collaborating with consumers, carers, families and multidisciplinary team members to achieve positive health outcomes.
Contributing to individualised care planning by identifying consumers’ strengths, goals and functional needs.
Providing education, support and clinical advice to consumers, carers and health professionals to promote recovery and independence
Our ideal candidate will:
Hold an recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated experience delivering evidence-based interventions for people experiencing mental illness and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
A strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice, mental health rehabilitation, and strengths-based care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with consumers, carers, families and service partners.
Knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act 2007, a commitment to continuous professional development.
A current Class C driver's licence
