ROLE SUMMARY:We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead to support a key programme within the Data & Analytics (D&A) division, focused on migrating applications to Azure Cloud in the LSEG-Microsoft partnership. The role provides central oversight of financials, resources, governance, and delivery performance, ensuring cost control, data integrity, and consistent, executive-ready reporting to enable informed decision-making. Acting as a key interface across Engineering, Product, Finance, and Transformation, the PMO Lead combines strong financial and analytical capability with hands-on governance to drive clarity and alignment across sophisticated deliveries
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Financial Management
- Coordinate end-to-end programme financial management, including planning, forecasting, and tracking of budgets, actuals, and forecasts
- Drive cost optimisation, analyse and handle variances, identify cost drivers and risks, and recommend corrective actions; support funding requests and cost/benefit modelling in line with Group standards
- Act as primary PMO contact to the application teams for resource planning and tracking, including allocations, extensions, ensuring alignment with delivery priorities
- Provide visibility of resource utilisation, capacity gaps, and optimisation opportunities to support delivery and cost efficiency decisions
- Coordinate and facilitate programme governance forums, including materials, decisions and follow-ups
- Produce executive reporting across financials, resources, delivery and performance, providing forward-looking insight and narrative to support decision-making
- Maintain the programme roadmap and supervise overall delivery status (milestones, RAG)
- Identify delivery bottlenecks, dependencies and risks, driving resolution and continuously improving PMO processes, standards and ways of working
- Perform data validation and reconciliation across systems to ensure accurate, auditable reporting
- Own and maintain high-quality programme data in Clarity, including RAID, milestones, dependencies, benefits, and key delivery artefacts
- Support risk, issue, and dependency management across Clarity and Azure DevOps, ensuring data integrity, completeness, and audit readiness through structured controls and regular reviews
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Clarity. Experience with Workday, Oracle and Azure DevOps, with Power BI an advantage
- Proven expertise in financial planning and forecasting, with a strong track record in analysing sophisticated data sets and translating them into high-quality management information and actionable insights
- Excellent interested party management, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the resilience and adaptability to operate sophisticated, fast-paced environments and a proactive mindset to continuously learn and expand capability
