| Position Summary: | The M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing is seeking applicants for the position of Program Coordinator to work on a National Institute of Nursing Research funded research education program grant. The Scholars for Applied Research and Impact (SARI) Program is designed to train nurse and other transdisciplinary scientists in systemic and institutional factors that affect health. This 12-month, cohort-style Program will recruit 30 Scholars (15 per annual cohort) from around the nation who are PhD students through mid-career scientists. The first cohort will run from June 2026 to May 2027, and the second will run from June 2027 to May 2028. The Program Coordinator will oversee the administrative components of Scholar training and career development, facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations within and outside of the Program, and support Scholars in the logistical components of their research products. This individual will provide significant support and resources to trainees and facilitate the integration of Scholars in the scientific community, which will include making resources available through the three SARI-partnering institutions (Villanova University, Howard University, and Johns Hopkins University). They will also work with the Advisory Board to implement the SARI Program and collaborate with the statistician for Program evaluation. This three year grant is funded through June 30, 2028, and the position is contingent upon continued grant funding. Why work at Villanova?
