Description
Duties and Responsibilities:- Spearhead or manage projects, programs or portfolios from conception through completion i.e. process improvement, cost savings, software development and transfer of technology, using Project Management Techniques and Processes
- Works with multiple cross-functional groups over project life cycle, coordinate interconnection, pre-requisites, and timing of deliverable within the project constraints: scope, schedule, and budget
- Implements defined project management processes and procedures. Monitors project management compliance of other functional groups and assists when needed.
- Communicate the status of projects to stakeholders, including the Senior Management; escalate issues as needed. Point of contact for any issues and concerns.
- Present regular project updates to Project Sponsors and Stakeholders Build PM training materials and conducts training, as necessary.
- Attend to Project Management Office operational tasks and provide support to operations in linking organizational strategies to project execution and goals.
Basic Qualifications, Education & Skills:
- College graduate of any 4 years course; preferably a graduate of Industrial Engineering or Information Technology.
- At least 5 years' experience in leading/managing projects or continuous improvement activities.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in leading/managing Software Development Projects.
- Excellent communication and composition skills with ability to foster communication and integration between project teams and or functional groups.
- Critical thinker, process oriented and strong documentation skills.
- Outstanding organization and planning skills.
- Excellent facilitation, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Must have strong people skills, teamwork, stakeholder management and project management.
- Ability to work with different levels of the organization and cross-functional groups.
- Knowledge of MS office and Lean Six Sigma Methodologies an advantage .
- Knowledge in Agile Methodology.
- PMP Certified is a plus.
