Trindom Global is seeking an experienced RCDD Certified Project Manager to oversee low-voltage, communications, technology, and infrastructure projects across mission-critical environments, including airports, healthcare facilities, public transit, commercial construction, and federal project sites.
This role is ideal for a hands-on project leader who understands structured cabling, fiber, communications pathways, Division 27/28 scopes, field coordination, subcontractor management, closeout documentation, quality control, and customer communication.
Position Summary
The RCDD Certified Project Manager will be responsible for managing assigned projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and customer expectations.
This position will work closely with field leadership, estimators, general contractors, owners, OEM partners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal operations teams to coordinate labor, materials, schedules, documentation, quality control, and project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
Manage low-voltage, communications, and technology installation projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, addenda, RFIs, submittals, and project schedules.
Coordinate Division 27 and Division 28 work, including structured cabling, fiber, pathways, racks, cabinets, grounding, labeling, testing, security, access control, cameras, audio/visual, paging, DAS, Wi-Fi, and communications systems.
Lead project kickoff meetings, look-ahead planning, manpower planning, and field coordination meetings.
Work directly with general contractors, owners, vendors, OEMs, and subcontractors.
Track project progress, labor hours, materials, change orders, delays, risks, and deliverables.
Prepare and maintain project schedules, daily/weekly reports, manpower updates, production tracking, and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements, site-specific rules, airport/federal access requirements, customer standards, and project documentation requirements.
Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, staging, and installation sequencing.
Review and submit RFIs, submittals, closeout documents, test results, redlines, as-builts, warranties, and O&M documentation.
Support quality control inspections and ensure installations meet BICSI, TIA/EIA, NEC, project specifications, and company standards.
Identify scope gaps, field conflicts, schedule risks, and change order opportunities.
Maintain strong communication with internal leadership and external project stakeholders.
Represent Trindom Global professionally on job sites and in project meetings.
Required Qualifications
Active BICSI RCDD certification is required.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in low-voltage, telecommunications, structured cabling, electrical, technology, or construction environments.
Strong understanding of Division 27 and Division 28 scopes.
Experience managing field crews, subcontractors, schedules, materials, and project documentation.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, riser diagrams, floor plans, details, and schedules.
Knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic systems, telecom rooms, pathways, racks, cabinets, labeling, testing, and closeout documentation.
Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Excel, project schedules, and construction documentation tools.
Ability to travel as project needs require.
Valid driver’s license required.
Must be able to pass a drug test and an extensive background investigation required for airport, federal, and secure project sites.
Must be eligible to obtain required airport, federal, or project-specific access credentials where applicable.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
BICSI RTPM certification in addition to RCDD is highly preferred.
Additional BICSI credentials such as DCDC, OSP, Technician, Installer 2, or equivalent.
Manufacturer certifications such as Panduit PCI, CommScope, Leviton, Corning, Belden, or similar structured cabling/fiber credentials.
DAS, Wi-Fi design, or audiovisual integration background.
CTS or CTS-I certification is a plus.
Bluebeam Revu power user.
Familiarity with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar construction management platforms.
OSHA 30 preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Experience with airports, healthcare, public transit, government, federal, or mission-critical environments.
Familiarity with security, access control, IP cameras, A/V, paging, nurse call, OR integration, or specialty technology systems.
Experience managing projects in active/live environments with strict safety, access control, and coordination requirements.
Ability to support estimating, takeoffs, change order development, and customer-facing project planning.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced low-voltage project leader with an ACTIVE RCDD certification and the ability to manage complex technical scopes in high-security, mission-critical environments.
They are organized, technically strong, and comfortable leading both people and projects. They understand field realities, communicate clearly, hold teams accountable, and know how to keep projects moving while protecting quality, safety, schedule, and profitability.
We are looking for someone who can represent Trindom Global with professionalism, urgency, and ownership with no supervision required.
Compensation:
Compensation is negotiable based on experience, certification level, technical background, and project management capabilities.
Salary Range: Based on Experience
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: DFW area preferred; travel may be required based on project needs.
For highly qualified candidates with RCDD plus RTPM, advanced BICSI credentials, manufacturer certifications, airport/federal project experience, DAS/Wi-Fi/A/V, integration background, a strong Bluebeam/Revu background. Compensation will be evaluated accordingly.
