Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire an IT, Security Engineer II working from our Scottsdale, AZ office location with a start date on or before July 15, 2026.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IT, Security Engineer II
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in information security engineering, security operations, or cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Required Certifications: One or more of the following or equivalent: CompTIA Security+; GIAC (GSEC or similar);Cisco CCNA Security or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management tools.
- Experience configuring and supporting VPNs, secure network connectivity, and hybrid cloud security solutions.

TRAVEL
- Travel as needed <10%
SCHEDULE
- Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Occasional after-hours work may be required.
- On-Call: Participation in a rotating on-call schedule required
- After-Hours Work: May be required as needed
