This is an opportunity to join a highly technical engineering group responsible for building the firm's next-generation electronic trading platform, supporting systematic execution across Asia's equity markets. You'll work alongside some of the industry's strongest engineers, partnering closely with quantitative researchers, execution specialists and front-office trading teams to develop low-latency, high-performance trading systems that directly impact investment performance.

The Role

1. You'll join the firm's Algorithmic Trading Technology team, responsible for developing and enhancing real-time execution systems supporting equity trading across Asian markets.
2. Working closely with traders, execution services, quantitative teams and senior technologists, you'll design and deliver highly scalable, low-latency Java applications whilst helping shape the future direction of the firm's electronic trading platform.
3. The team places a huge emphasis on engineering quality, maintainability and modern software development practices, making this an excellent opportunity for engineers who genuinely enjoy solving complex technical problems.
4. Tech stack: Core Java, Spring Boot, Real-time messaging frameworks, Low-GC application design, TDD, DevOps, KDB+/Q
