Description

The Travelers Indemnity Company has an opening for a Software Engineer II in Atlanta, Georgia. This position is hybrid; may work from home up to 2 days per week, as permitted. 

Complete advanced end-to-end engineering tasks for specific system assignments. Design, develop, analyze, configure, test, debug, troubleshoot, document, health monitor/alert, and implement based on user or system specifications. Consult with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications. Manage interaction between the systems and other technical support areas and defining technical requirements and coordinating team resources to solve problems. This position is hybrid, may work from home up to 2 days per week, as permitted. This position supervises: Associate Software Engineers.  

Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related STEM field and at least 2 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related role in the insurance / financial services industry. Must also possess the following: at least two years of experience with Guidewire; at least two years of experience with functional validation and automation framework; at least two years of experience with cloud technologies; at least two years of experience with automation tools and framework; at least two years of experience with Web\UI, Web Service\API testing methods and tools; at least two years of experience with Agile methodology; and at least two years of experience with test management tools eg: Rally and JIRA.
