The Travelers Indemnity Company has an opening for a Software Engineer II in Atlanta, GA. This position is hybrid; may work from home up to 2 days per week, as permitted.

Perform analysis, design, development, and configuration functions (includes defining technical requirements) with a high degree of accuracy and speed, operating as an individual contributor to team goals. Perform analysis, assessment and resolution for defects and incidents of advanced complexity and escalate appropriately. Work independently to tackle well-scoped and loosely scoped problems. Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced employees.

Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field and at least 2 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related role. Must also possesss the following: at least 2 years of experience with software development of Guidewire applications; at least 2 years of experience with Guidewire configuration and insurance suite platform; at least 2 years of experience with Guidewire Cloud implementation; at least 2 years of experience with Java, XML, JSON, Rest Services, Event Messaging, Apache Camel, JSLT, Kafka, GIT; and Guidewire Certified ACE in configuration or equivalent experience.
