Parkview Health i s actively recruiting for a Board Eligible/ Board Certified Urogynecologist who has completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, to join their growing team in Fort Wayne, Indiana . This opportunity is for a full-time position.
Specifics of the Role
- Office Hours: 8am - 5pm
- Private Practice Urogynecology
- Time divided between clinic and the operating room
- 1-2 days a week surgery, 2-3 days a week clinic
- Large referral base of >1,000,000 patients provides a wide variety of simple and complex urogynecology
- Office referrals are urogynecology focused
- Call Schedule: Shared call between 3 providers.
- No OB call; No general GYN call
- All phone calls are triaged through nurse answering service, making call light & manageable
- Teaching Opportunities
- New OBGYN residency will begin training in 2024, if interested, ample opportunity for involvement
- With the new residency, research opportunities will be available if interested. Parkview has a large research facility, "The Mirro Center" with statisticians and coordinators available for assistance with research projects.
The Team
- Our collaborative group currently consists of 2 physicians, both board certified, having completed accredited fellowship training & one advanced practice provider, who are committed to providing comprehensive, evidence based, personalized care
- Practice is located at our state-of-the-art Parkview Regional Medical Center campus
- Newly renovated office space is not shared with other specialties
- Dedicated front desk personnel, office nurses, OR scheduler
- In office cystoscopy, urodynamics and procedure room
- Main Campus provides 3 different ORs for access and patient needs. Each have teams that are now familiar with Urogynecology procedures, patient recovery and instrumentation
- Anorectal manometry performed through gastroenterology, Defacography and Dynamic MRI available, being read by radiologists who trained at Michigan
- Urogynecology providers currently collaborate with Urology, Colon and Rectal Surgery, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Radiology, Gynecology Oncology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hospitalist OBGYN providers, primary care providers, and others
- Parkview's Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy program has been here for more than 15 years and continues to grow. They currently have 4 full time providers, have a residency that began 2022 and are looking to expand. They have dedicated office space and rooms located near the Urogynecology office. The PT providers and Urogynecology providers meet on a quarterly basis to discuss patients
