Snohomish County PUD #1 is the nation’s 12th largest public utility, serving over 367,000 electric customers and 20,000 water customers with a work force of over 1,000. Our service territory covers more than 2,200 square miles north of Seattle, including all of Snohomish County and Camano Island.

Wireman

$78.23 Hourly - Job #16845

This position will remain open until filled. We are currently hiring for three immediate openings and establishing an eligibility pool that may be used to fill future vacancies for up to one year.

Basic Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager, Substation Construction & Operations or Wireman Foreman works on the construction and maintenance of station and substation equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience: 

• Must qualify as a Wireman Journeyman by having completed three (3) years of training in Wireman work, or its equivalent.
• High School diploma or equivalent. 

License or Certification:

• Obtain a valid Washington State Commercial Driver License (Class A) within six (6) months from job start date.
• Obtain a valid First Aid certificate within 3 months from job start date.
• Obtain a valid CPR certificate within 3 months from job start date.
