Company History

Firefly Financial key stakeholders has been helping Western Australians make smarter money decisions since 1987, with a particular focus on GESB members and public sector employees. Over the decades, we’ve grown from a small suburban practice into a specialist advice firm trusted by multiple generations within the same families. Many of our clients have been with us for 20–30 years, referring their children and even grandchildren, which has shaped our strong relationship?driven culture.

In 2025, the business evolved into Firefly Financial Pty Ltd, building on this long history while modernising our brand, systems, and client experience to match the needs of today’s Gen X and Baby Boomer clients. Throughout that journey, our purpose has stayed the same: to be the clear, calm voice in the financial noise, explaining complex strategies in a way people actually understand and can act on with confidence. We remain proudly suburban and down?to?earth, working with clients who have built their wealth the hard way and value honest, practical advice over hype.
